Writing workshops with Jonathan Harnois

Two writing workshops with Jonathan Harnois
With a touch of literary audacity, this series of writing workshops with Jonathan HARNOIS offers an experience full of discovery and astonishment.
The tools, reflections and exercises on offer give everyone the keys to nourish their creative fire and transform the blank page into a playground of multiple possibilities. All in an environment of non-judgment and kindness.
Each workshop lets you explore a new dimension of writing.
Two workshops are offered: ÉLAN AND CONFIDENCE. Contents, dates and prices are given below.
To bring your idea to manuscript, explore writing workshops with Robert Lalonde : EXPLORATION, DEVELOPMENT, JOURNEY AND MENTORING.
Writing Workshop : ÉLAN
WORKSHOP 1: THE MAGIC IS IN THE DETAILS
A text comes to life through the quality of the details that make it up. An opportunity to explore the magic hidden in the details of everyday life!
WORKSHOP 2: THE WORDS THAT BIND US
Words have value: by discovering their potential, their scope, their flavor, their music, we explore the realm of subjectivity that is attached to language.
WORKSHOP 3: THE MERITS OF PASTICHE
Mimetic writing has a paradoxical power. Unlike parody and plagiarism, the practice of pastiche has the effect of giving even greater tone and authenticity to one’s personal style.
WORKSHOP 4: WORDS HAVE EARS
Through a multi-sensory journey, immersion in a world of sounds, olfactory and visual stimuli, the body takes center stage in the creative space. Through imagination and spontaneity, the blank page is gradually transformed into an exhilarating playground.
The workshop master works a lot on the state of mind. Above all, he encourages you to get out of “performance” mode. There are no good or bad students. Each person makes the exercises their own in their own way.
*Admission requirements :

Writing workshop : CONFIDENCE
A STEP TOWARDS ONESELF
Writing is a matter of presence. Presence to oneself, presence to others, presence to the world around us. In this workshop, we aim to bring this contact with the vibrant reality of subjective experience to light.
TIDES OF INSPIRATION
Inspiration is a liquid phenomenon, an experience of fluidity. It demands flexibility, abandonment, inventiveness and immoderation. This workshop offers the keys to entering the great river movement of writing.
YOU SAID FICTION ?
Fiction is a mysterious art. Do we have the right idea? Do we perceive the unparalleled freedom it offers us? Here’s a little digest of narratology that will open the door to a world of unheard-of possibilities.
THE JOY OF REVISION
The draft is only a first step. Every text can be perfected. There’s no escaping the fact that writing is rewriting. Thanks to a rigorously assembled toolkit, learn how to intervene judiciously in your text, and reveal the full potential of your pen.
