DESSINE-MOI UNE HISTOIRE
Internationally-renowned author and illustrator Pascal Biet begins by awakening the imagination of the young audience members – and the accompanying adults – with a most incredible story! The children in the audience howl with delight!
Once the audience has warmed up to the story, Pascal launches discussions on the choice of characters to create the story. Then it’s time for a vote, and off we go! From page to page, Pascal draws the story the children are creating, discussing and reaching consensus among themselves, naming the characters and inventing a thousand funny adventures for them.
Everyone, young and old, leaves enchanted and looking forward to Pascal’s e-mail, which will bring them the stories in two notebooks: one colored by the teacher, the other to be colored.

CADAVRES EXQUIS
The workshop works this way: each participant takes it in turns to write part of a sentence, in subject – verb – complement, in that order, without knowing what the previous person has written.
The first sentence to result from this process, invented by the Surrealist writers, and which gave the game its name, was: “Le cadavre – exquis – boira – le vin – nouveau.”
We then draw a picture following the same principle: the first person draws the head, the second the body and the third the legs – without looking at what the others have drawn, since we hide what we’ve done by folding the paper.
The paper is then unfolded to reveal an often fanciful creature!
The workshop is open to children and adults. Parents are welcome to help their children.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make a mandala from a greeting card on blank watercolor paper, 5 inches by 6 7/8 inches in size, according to your personal inspiration.
This workshop is for children aged 8 and over, accompanied by a parent, and adults of all ages.
ACM provides all material: a compass – a lead pencil with eraser – wooden watercolor pencils with a very fine brush or wooden coloring pencils – a black permanent ink pencil with a fine point – a ruler.

PAINTING AND SELF-EXPRESSION
Come and rediscover the impulse to paint spontaneously, thanks to 18 professional gouache colors and the advice of painter Lyne TREMBLAY.
This approach (Arno Stern) stimulates the innate abilities of each individual to rediscover natural expression.
THE GIFT OF EXPRESSION is in all of us and develops from an early age, independently of art, thanks to the freedom to paint without themes or suggestions. Experiencing another way of creating in a group, without being compared or evaluated, builds confidence and self-esteem, encourages greater initiative and regenerates.
These workshops are for adults who would like to experience their creative potential more fully and without pressure, as well as for those looking for an activity that encourages introspection and personal development. For children who love painting, for the shy, for those who lack confidence in themselves or in their creative potential, for those who have difficulty expressing themselves, etc.

COLOR CHALLENGE (PASTEL)
With painter Yvan Dagenais
Participants will discover different ways of applying dry pastel. Through a game of exchange and exploration, they will try to render colors into shapes according to the inspiration of the moment and the tools on offer.
Participants will choose a few pastels and make pastel touches on appropriate papers. Different techniques are suggested to nuance the colors. At particular moments, participants will be presented with surprising proposals and the challenge of improvising an original, personal work.
The workshop will take place in a relaxed atmosphere, where creative and inspiring play will entertain participants while they discover some of the unique properties of pastel.
