Let’s not kill the world’s hope

Beyond breathless indignation and horizon-less “everything is going to be ok”, a text reading show celebrating what there is still and always to celebrate. In other words, the beauty and vitality of our world, abandoned by the power-hungry so-called leaders who are busy paralyzing everyone’s spirit.
To the tune of the song “Ne tuons pas la beauté du monde” (“Let’s not kill the world’s beauty”), a gathering where music, poetry, polemics, proclamations, manifestos and professions of faith in the durability of the beauty of our world, which we all agree is on the brink of extinction, will be the order of the day.
Let ‘s not kill the hope of the world, the antidote to the current depression and anxiety.
More than 30 people on stage, songs, music, texts by citizens and authors aged 8 to 88, delivered by young people and Robert LALONDE, Pascale MONTPETIT, Chloé SAINTE-MARIE, Geneviève RIOUX, accompanied by songs with Annie BOUCHARD and great musicians such as Yves LÉVEILLÉ (Opus Award, André Gagnon Award) and Tomàs JENSEN (ADISQ Award, GAMIQ Award) and the Chœur Libre Voix d’Eastman choir.
